Death Note is a famous Japanese manga illustrated by Takeshi Obata and written by Tsugumi Ohba. The story is all about a teen genius who accidentally discovered a mysterious notebook called Death Note. The notebook was previously owned by Shinigami Ryuk and anyone who possesses the notebook will have supernatural abilities that will kill anyone whose name gets written on the notebook.
The story centers on the attempt to carry out a bloody worldwide massacre of all people who are known to be immortal and create a society that’s crime-free. There was also a 37 episode television adaptation of the said manga and was broadcasted in Japan from 2006 to 2007. It was then developed into a game available for Nintendo DS.
