Danganronpa is a video game franchise that was originally created by Kazutaka Kodaka. The story is all about a group of high school students that we’re obliged to murder each one of as commanded by the bear called Monokuma. The gameplay is more on an adventure, shooter, and visual novel.
The scenario was originally written by Kodaka with an aim to make a dark adventure game. However, this original concept was not accepted because it was too gruesome. After a series of retooling, it was then approved and was morphed into novels, manga, anime, and others. It was then declared as the most successful works of Spike.
Soon after its release, the series received a lot of acclamation and positive reviews, with praises particularly directed to the atmosphere, characters, and tone of the series. Danganronpa memes were also all over the Internet for everyone’s entertainment.
