Halo is an American Sci-Fi agencies franchise supervised and cultivated by XBOX Game Studios. The authorization and its early main instalments were originally developed by Bungie. The initial trilogy centres on an interstellar war between humanity and a coalition of aliens known as the Covenant. The Covenant is led by their religious leaders called the Prophets, who worship a historical civilisation known as Forerunners, who perished while edging against the parasitic flood. The eponymous Halo Array, a group of immense, comfortable, ring-shaped superweapons that were created by the Forerunners to eradicate the flood, however, the Covenant mistake it for religious antiques that if ever generated would transfer them on a great journey to meet the Forerunners.
The games in the series are critically applauded with an original evaluated Xbox’s “Killer Game”. This led to the phrase ” Halo Killer” which’s used to describe the console games that aspire or are considered to be better than Halo. Fueled by the success of one of Halo’s game series, which had marketing campaigns from publisher Microsoft, its sequels went on to record-breaking sales. By 2015, the games had sold over 65 million copies worldwide with the games grossing almost $3.4. As of February 2021, the figure has risen to 81 million copies. Halo has become one of the most highly paid media franchises of all time. These strong sales led to the franchise’s expansion to other media.
